Phoebe Miller

Phoebe received her BFA in Modern Dance from University of the Arts in Philadelphia, where she studied technique, anatomy, kinesiology, and pedagogy. Her yoga studies began with teachers, Elizabeth Andes-Bell, Alan Finger, and Carrie Owerko. She earned her 500 hour Certification (ERYT500) at YogaWorks in New York City under the guidance of her mentor Jeanmarie Paolillo from YogaWorks and Restorative/Therapeutics training with Jillian Pransky.

Phoebe's journey of teaching began in 1997 when she was offered to teach modern dance at Pennsyvlania School of Ballet's summer program. Since then, she has taught yoga, dance, and Pilates at various studios/programs in New York City, the Hudson Valley and around the world. In 2014, she founded nOMad always at OM, a community that brings new experiences on and off the mat to yogis at nOMad's Online Studio, on yoga retreats, 200/300 hour yoga teacher trainings, and at other community events. Her mission through nOMad is to give her students the tools to live a fuller life with more joy, gratitude, confidence, and connection.
